Are kids welcome?

Kids can join in the fun with Mrs Cupcake. Face painting, games, races, ice-creams.
Other than the races is there any entertainment?
Live entertainment with music and dancing starts after the last race until stumps!

Where can I stay?

Camping is available adjacent to the race course on Toowoomba Regional Council’s Recreation Reserve. Can I buy a drink anywhere?

A selection of beer, wine, champagne and mixes is available until closing time from the bar which usually closes around 10pm.

If I get hungry is there anywhere to eat?

The canteen offers a range of hot and cold food and drinks throughout the day, including a BBQ facility. Please note that food, eskies, alcohol and glass of any kind are strictly prohibited through the gate.

Is there any wheelchair access?

Wheelchair access to amenities is available.

Are there any fashions on the field or other competitions?

Fashion on the Field: Great prizes to be won in the Fashions on the Field. The prize money may change each year depending on the Club’s very generous sponsors. As a guide only, the prizes are typically as follows:

Best Dressed Lady - Classic Racewear $600 cash
Best Dressed Lady - Contemporary Racewear - $600 cash
Best Dressed Couple - $250 cash + travel voucher
Best Dressed Man - $100 cash + $100 Retail Store Voucher
Best Headwear - $200 cash
Best Dressed Teenager - $200 cash
